This isn't my regular stop, but I was craving a cinnamon roll and this place not only had Yelp pictures, but is also open 24/7. My daughter and I ran in and we were not disappointed by their friendly staff and colorful ambience. Be prepared to share the cinnamon roll or have enough to last for weeks! It is HUGE! It was yummy and gooey but I wish I would have asked if they could heat it up. The donut case was more of a novelty and filled with colorful sugary treats. All of them were unique and fun, like the blue Oreo monster. Definitely a fun place to bring the kiddos or pop in for a more refined donut option.
Super fun place. Love the atmosphere and swings. The donuts are large. The guy running the counter was super friendly. The blueberry cake ( I can't remember the exact name) was so incredible! My least favorite was the caramel apple. It was a little dry.
I have no business writing a review for a donut shop. I don't like donuts. However, my sister in law brought home some hurts donuts and then left. While I waited for her return, I ate all the cake donuts over a few days. You know, it just seemed like a perfect snack bite just sitting on the counter. I'm still not a regular donut fan, but man, their cake donuts were tasty. I highly enjoyed the blueberry cake donut; it was #1 of all the cake donuts. I'll end it here since, like I said, I have no business writing about donuts. But if you ever find yourself near Hurts, definitely try the blueberry cake donut.
Who doesn't like oversized, decked out donuts?? I enjoyed a couple of Hurts Donuts recently and I can see why they had a long line right when I walked in. The donuts are good, the staff were friendly, and the line moved fast. I can see parking being an issue here, especially on weekends since it is near many bars. I tried the Jésus and the red velvet donuts. They were both really good. I will definitely be back to try more flavors!
I ate dinner with some friends Sunday afternoon. My friend had a sweet tooth and mentioned this place. Since I'm a Yelpi I agreed to come here. I am so glad we came here! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and my Snickers Donut! We walked in and we had the place to ourselves. There was one person running the Donut Shop. A nice looking Hispanic guy with oversized clothes and tats. I think? I didn't want to stare. Lol He said, that he was super busy earlier so, that's why there was a shortage of Donuts. He said, he was ready to go home and glad when Easter is over. Lol. Sounds like the majority of people. Lol. He was a really nice guy. He served us then went to the back. I love the ambiance of Hurt's Donuts. The vibrant colors was a nice touch to this spacious environment. I love the decor inside and the swinging swings are inviting and look cool! There were so many donuts to choose from! The Cotton Candy Donut, the ET Donut and the Jesus Donut! I however, decided to get the Snickers Donut! I love the Snickers Candy Bar so, I figured, I would love the Snickers Donut. Boyyy, was I right! Lol. It hurt so Good! Lol. It was was a hearty Donut that was Chocolatey with a sprinkle of peanuts on top. If Jesus doesn't return. I'm going back for the Jesus Donut! Lol. Check them out some time. Hurt's is open 24/7.
